Cetus CWordPad

CWordPad is an enhanced implementation of Windows 95 WordPad. CWordPad provides the basic functionality of WordPad, as well as a spell checker, a thesaurus, and a more complete Help file. (However, please note that CWordPad does not support Word 97 or later documents.) Original website is available via archive.org here.

This is a very useful old freeware tool, which lets you open and view Windows 3.1 *.WRI documents properly! This functionality is completely lost in every modern Windows version. I have lots of use for it because I have still docs and manuals in the format, for my old games. Some of these are unique in that they contain nice presentation and often with pictures. If the pictures in your "Write" file won't show in CWordPad, right click the place where the image should be and the program can convert the asset to standard BMP for you! Since the original installer won't work on 64bit Windows, I have included an InstallShield 32bit setup fix.
